It is renowned not only for its natural beauty but also for its historical and religious significance, making it one of the country’s most important destinations for both local and international visitors.

The mountain stretches with dense forests, alpine valleys, and rugged hills, offering opportunities for hiking, mountain trekking, and nature exploration. It is also a pilgrimage site for saints and devotees, as at its summit lie the teqe (Bektashi shrine) and sacred sites of the Bektashi community, which have preserved religious traditions for centuries.

From the peaks of Tomorr, spectacular views open over the city of Berat, the plains below, and the surrounding mountains, making the visit a unique natural and spiritual experience. Beyond its cultural significance, the mountain is renowned for its rich biodiversity, featuring flora and fauna characteristic of Albania's mountainous regions.
