The Osum Canyon is located in the heart of Skrapar, near the town of Çorovodë, and is one of Albania’s most remarkable natural wonders. It stretches for approximately 26 kilometers, with limestone cliffs reaching up to 80 meters in height, carved over thousands of years by the powerful flow of the Osum River. Its clear and cold waters flow through the canyon, creating waterfalls, hidden caves, and unique rock formations that change color according to the season and sunlight.

In spring, when the water level rises, the canyon offers excellent opportunities for rafting, attracting adventurers from around the world. In summer, when the river is calmer, visitors can go on kayaking expeditions, walk along the riverbanks, or simply enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty. Beyond its geological and touristic value, the Osum Canyon also holds cultural and spiritual significance, as local inhabitants believe that some of the rock formations represent legendary figures connected to the area’s history and myths.

This magical place is a symbol of the union between water, rock, and life—a natural treasure that makes Skrapar and Albania an irreplaceable destination for lovers of adventure and the wild outdoors.
