BUNK’ART 2 is one of Tirana’s most unique and visited attractions, transforming an actual bunker into a modern history museum. Located near the Ministry of Interior in the heart of the city, it offers a unique experience to understand life, fear, and the realities of the communist period in Albania.

The bunker, secretly built in the 1980s to protect the top leadership from a possible attack, consists of dozens of underground rooms and corridors. Today, these have been transformed into exhibition spaces showcasing the history of the Ministry of Interior, the role of the State Security (Sigurimi), and the system of control and punishment during the dictatorship.

Through original documents, surveillance equipment, photographs, videos, and artistic installations, visitors experience the feeling of life under the totalitarian regime and learn about its impact on society.
