Sari Salltik is one of the most sacred and mystical sites in the Krujë area, located on the mountain above the town, about 6 kilometers from Krujë Castle. It is a Bektashi religious complex that includes a tekke, a türbe (saint’s tomb), and several natural spaces associated with local legends and popular beliefs.

According to tradition, Sari Salltik was a Bektashi saint of Anatolian origin who came to Albania in the 13th century to spread Islam and spiritual peace. Legend has it that he performed miracles, and the rock where he now rests is believed to hold special energy, making the site a pilgrimage destination for followers of many faiths.

The Sari Salltik Tekke is situated in a stunning natural location atop a steep rock, offering spectacular views of the Krujë plain and the Adriatic Sea. Visitors who make the climb experience not only spiritual serenity but also the rare natural beauty that surrounds the site.

Today, Sari Salltik stands as a symbol of religious harmony, tradition, and Albanian culture, combining legend, history, and nature into a unique experience.
