Qafë Shtama National Park is located about 25 kilometers north of the town of Krujë and is one of Albania’s most beautiful mountainous areas. The park ranges in elevation from 1,100 to 1,570 meters above sea level and is renowned for its dense pine forests, fresh air, and natural cold springs.

Qafë Shtama has long been known as a place for rest and healing, thanks to its famous mineral-rich water, once known as the “King’s Water,” as it supplied water to King Zog and his family.

The park is an ideal destination for mountain hiking, camping, picnics, and nature tourism. Its landscape includes valleys, alpine meadows, and forest trails, offering rare tranquility and stunning views of the Mat mountains and the Krujë area.

Thanks to its cool climate and rich biodiversity, Qafë Shtama is a natural and ecological treasure that attracts visitors year-round. For those seeking an escape from the city’s noise and a connection with nature, this park is an ideal place for relaxation and inspiration.
